Where Is Your Business On
Alignment Method

And Which of the 21 Silver Bullets Should You Implement Right Now to Move

Your Business Toward the Freedom Step?

What You'll Learn in Alignment Method:

1 | Welcome to the CourseSave

Welcome to the Online Course Blueprint. This blueprint should be used as a guide and starting place to get your first (or twentieth) online course off the ground.

2 | About Your Instructor

Use this area to introduce yourself as the instructor of the course. The most important thing to remember is to be yourself. Re recommend filming a video where you tell your story and let your personality and authority shine.

3 | Outline and Objectives

This section is important to outline the overall goals and objectives for the course. we recommend creating a screen recording of the course to give your students a lay of the land.

4 | Expectations

While Vision, Values, and Principles are the foundation of creating any culture the expectations are the strength of the framework. Clear expectations, and creating them properly, can be one of the most exponentially rewarding activities to the business and the culture. Creating expectations gives the employees not only clarity to their job they can allow them to have confidence in the role that they are expected to do. This also has the added benefit of reducing friction between employees and allows a pathway for them to ask questions and be re guided. Done right, expectations will revolutionize your business, your efficiency, your effectiveness, and create a culture of respect

5 | Communications

When I get called in to support an organization the biggest challenge they typically have is communication. This fundamentally I have found is an element that exists in every business that creates the most challenge. The reason is that we are dealing with people and communication styles as well as backgrounds and motivations all very a little bit. This video is the longest video by design. It is the area in which there is the most intentional setup required. If we don't create the proper channels and environment and expectations for strong communication then the rest of this doesn't work.

6 | Delegation

while in the first three videos you learned how to create a resilient and effective structure delegation is the accelerant which allows this to take off. Effective delegation not only creates freedom but it also creates an increased level of confidence and buy in and with those three things together the positive trajectory of your business can be phenomenal. There is a reason that this was left for the 4th video as the commitment to make delegation work is one of the biggest hindrances to its success and if you've made the commitment to go through the first three videos you're now ready to see the commitment that is here to make this work.

7 | Awareness and Accountability

So I buried the lead here a little bit. How? The way is that while all of this structure and process established in the previous steps and videos is extremely important it all starts with awareness and ends with accountability.

8 | The What

  • The WHAT

  • The WHY

  • The HOW

This structure is a tried and true way to apply learning of any subject matter. If you already have a better outline for your mini course, feel free to delete or rename this posts to better suit your teaching style. If you are feeling stuck, focus on answering these 3 questions for your students.

9 | The Why

Now that we have talked about the WHAT, we can now use this post to describe the meaning behind your students applying the subject to their lives. The WHY helps provides students a purpose and motivation behind their learnings, and is where we draw the primary value of knowledge.

10 | The How

Knowledge is great, but

Applied Knowledge

is even greater. Use this post as an opportunity to share the HOW. Show real tips and techniques for practically applying the knowledge you just shared with your students.

This is the section where you can tell some of your own story and some practices that worked well in your own context or situation. Be personable, actionable and motivational to your students when explaining the HOW.

11 | Advanced Tips

Use this section to give some advanced tips about the topic you have just covered. This can be a great place to address some frequently asked questions. Use the comments section to get more ideas on what you can share with your students.

12 | Going Beyond this Course

This is a great place to call your students to act on all the knowledge that you shared in the previous lessons. Invite students to share their experience in the comments section below.

13 | Wrapping Things Up

This the place where you gracefully close the course. We don't want to fully say goodbye though. Instead, leave your students with a clear path of what to do next. This could be a fantastic opportunity to cross-sell your students on another product, or send them out onto a special email sequence.
